How A-Team Security Started

A-Team Security was started on the 18th of June 2010. From Day 1 the company consisted of three members of staff; Jason Thomas, Stuart Townsend and Neil O'Donnell. 

We started the business with one shared goal - to offer a better service than our competitors.
We were all fortunate enough to have been trained and employed by some of the most highly regarded security companies in South Wales. Nevertheless we genuinely came to believe that we could offer people a better service than they were accustomed to.

Jason, Stuart and Neil have diverse backgrounds with a range of qualifications, knowledge and experience covering every aspect of the security industry, cumulatively resulting in a high level of expertise, which we use to ensure all our clients receive the best advice and service possible.

We invest in our future and the future of our business relationships by constantly striving to improve ourselves and our company.

We take pride in what we do and in the service we offer, this is essential to ensure we achieve our goal of becoming the leading security company in South Wales. We understand this is an ambitious target, however with our steadily increasing client portfolio, our traditional and honest approach to business and the importance we put into our customers' needs, we believe it is a goal we can achieve.


SSAIB accredited

We are SSAIB accredited ensuring our work is carried out to the highest industry standards when working with Intruder Alarms, Access control and CCTV systems. This enables us to issue certificates which can reduce customer insurance costs and offer police response to monitored systems.

Safe Contractor accredited

We are safe contractor approved as we know that Health and Safety is as important to our customers as it is to us. The Health and Safety of our Customers and Staff is paramount to the longevity of our organisation as the requirement for safe and adequate protection for people is our first priority in regards to how we conduct ourselves professionally.

Construction Skills Certificate Scheme Accredited

All staff hold current CSCS cards ensuring we meet the current requirements set out by the construction industry while working on sites. More organisations are adopting this level of compliance as standard practice throughout their estates.

IPAF Accredited

All staff hold full and current licences to operate a range of MEWP’s ( mobile elevating work platforms) to ensure safe inspection and operation of MEWP’s should they be required to undertake any of the services we offer.

Keeping upto date with Technology

We are always learning, the security industry is a fluid and evolutionary sector. Technology is constantly changing and improving and with this so are we. We share a common interest in our products and how they perform, always looking forward to how we can make our customers' homes and businesses and the people within, safer and more secure.
